Needing Prayer
I still cannot tell the entire story of what has transpired within the last 72 hours, but all that I can say is NOTHING is beyond our God, even in the darkest places. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
These last three days have been a whirlwind quite literally of a faith walk. I am not totally through them, and I continually am asking to keep our friend and partner Frank and his family still covered in prayer. We are both hurting and needing the strength. Psalms 127 keeps coming to mind…
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”
This man and dear treasure of BRANCH is being attacked fiercely due to his commitment to the cause. He is helping to build God’s house and being severely attacked for it. God is moving in the midst of his life right now and he needs to feel some relief.
This has been a time where I have called on my prayer intercessors to intercede for myself when I have struggled to seek God. And God is delivering in a fashion I never saw coming after attacks came that I never saw coming.
Worshipping God in the midst is something I never say easily. But it is one that must be done. This is WAR!! One that we have won, but still can scar us while on this earth.
I can understand why many people do not come to the forefront to help trafficked victims. This is as dark as it gets whether or not you can see it, but the spirit knows! It may not look like it on the surface, but let me tell ya…. these are not trials I would put to anyone!!!! It is difficult for a baby Christian or an unstable one to be in the midst of these trials. I don’t say that lightly. So as we continue this journey to seek volunteers as BRANCH grows, know that we pray over EVERY single person that gets involved. We value your life to the hilt!!!
The enemy is raging and definitely trying to wear us out in building, but I don’t think he understands truly what a stubborn child of God is all about. My Daddy ALWAYS wins in the end!! AND MY DADDY, has provided me with a team behind the scenes, that KNOW how to fight when I am weak. SO…. keep us in prayer! AND PRAISE GOD…. we are beginning to start on the BRANCH house AGAIN!!!
