Great Tips to Help Law Enforcement
In Oakland County work is beginning on training officers to recognize and help human trafficked victims, but many cities do not have the funds for training. However, if you know of a law enforcement officer or someone out there that works the front lines in the medical field, etc, this is a really good article to help you look for signs of a trafficked victim. I am encouraging anyone who works in emergency care, hospitals, law enforcement, juvenile detention centers, start listening a little closer. You may be surprised at what you hear.
Michigan is number two in the nation for trafficking. We’ve recently move up the ladder from number five. We have labor, domestic, agricultural, and sex trafficking. Michigan is a hot spot right near a major hub in Toledo courtesy I-75. We need everyone’s eyes and ears peeled to help shut down any traffickers. Please share this. Victims need you!
